PENGGUNAAN METODE BALI SIMBAR DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN NYURAT AKSARA LATIN KE AKSARA BALI PADA SISWA KELAS IX SMP NEGERI 4 MARGA, TABANAN, BALI
Abstract
The ability of students in writing Latin script to Balinese script is relatively low. This is caused by the lack of students' understanding of the use pasang aksara (the grammar of Balinese). The teacher still uses conventional methods in teaching. To improve students' abilities in writing Balinese script to Latin script, the Balinese simbar method is applied. It is expected that the Bali Simbar method can improve the transliteration for grade IX students of SMP Negeri 4 Marga in the academic year 2016/2017. The research problems are (1) How is the student's ability in transLating Latin script to Balinense script for grade IX students of SMP Negeri 4 Marga, Tabanan, academic year 2016/2017 (2) What is the response of class IX students of SMP B Negeri 4 Marga, academic year 2017/2016 about the application of methods in the teaching of Latin alphabet to Balinese script? The theory used to analyze the ability to transliterate grade IX student of SMP Negeri 4 Marga are (1) theory of writing and (2) pasang aksara Bali (the grammar of Balinese). The subjects of this study were all students of class IX B of SMP Negeri 4 Marga in the academic year 2016/2017. The number of students are 23 students. Data collected by the test method and observation method. The results showed that the use of the Bali Simbar method could improve the ability of grade IX student of SMP Negeri 4 Marga in transliterating Latin script to Balinese script This can be seen from the average score of student learning outcomes in the first cycle is quite adequate with an average score of 70.34 and an increase in the second cycle, namely with an average score of 83.36 which is classified as good. Thus the use of the Balinese simbar method can increase the ability and response of students grade IX SMP Negeri 4 Marga in transliterating Latin script to Balinese script.
