Abstract

The diversity of forms of traditional houses is very dominant in the architecture of the archipelago, especially Indonesia. Traditional house is an identity and has its own meaning and has a different technical settlement in each tribe. Likewise, the Sumba tribe which has a traditional house with a shield roof and a very high roof that resembles a tower. The traditional house not only has meaning that arises from the belief system, but also has a technical solution that is able to solve architectural problems arising from the shape of the building.
