APLIKASI CAMPURAN BIOURIN DENGAN AGEN PENGENDALI HAYATI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRODUKTIVITAS TANAMAN CABAI RAWIT (CAPSICUM FRUTESCENS L.)
Abstract
The production of chili in Indonesia has not been able to sufficient the national needs, so the government must import chili which reaches more than 16,000 tons per year. The national average of chili production has only reached 4.35 tons / ha, while the potential for chili production can reach more than 10 tons / ha. One of the efforts to increasing the growth and production of chili is by utilizing a mixture of biourin with biological control agents. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of biourin added with biological control agents in controlling pests and diseases in chili plants and to determine the effectiveness of biourin added with biological control agents in increasing the productivity of chili plants. Biourin treatment test was supplemented with biological control agents on chili plants using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) using 10 treatments and 3 (three) replications, so that 30 unit trial plots were obtained. Plant height and number of chili primary branches in the control treatment were significantly different from all other treatments. The results of observations of chili plant height in the treatment of Bio-urine + Base Genep showed a significant increase in chili plant height compared to plant height in other treatments. Biourin added with biological control agents is effective in controlling pests and diseases in chili plants and can increase the productivity of chili plants. This is proven by the treatment of Bio-urine + Base Genep (5.50 tons / ha) followed by the treatment of Bio-urine + Neem Leaves, (3.76 tons / ha) and the lowest is shown in the control treatment (1.39 tons /Ha). The results of the analysis showed that the productivity on Bio-urine + Base Genep and Bio-urine + Neem Leaves were significantly different from controls. The treatment of Bio-urine + Base Genep shows the lowest percentage of leaf damage (20%) and shows the highest production yield among other treatments (5.50 tons / ha).
