MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN DUKUNGAN ORANG TUA KONTRIBUSINYA TERHADAP MINAT BACA SISWA KELAS V

Abstract

The problems in this research are (1) how much the contribution of learning motivation to students interest in reading class V. (2) how much contribution parents support to the reading interest of class V students (3) how much contribution the motivation to learn and support parents to interest read class V. This type of research is ex post facto research. The population of the study was 246 class V students who were in Gusti Ngurah Rai South Denpasar Cluster I and the sampling was determined by proportional random sampling technique so that the number of samples was 146 students and sampling was determined by proportional random sampling technique so that the number of samples was 146 students. The technique of data collection on reading interest, motivation to learn and support from parents using the non-test method was questionnaire. Data analysis in this study was inferential statistical analysis, namely simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Before the data analysis conducted, prerequisite tests were first performed, namely normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, and heterocedasticity test. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that (1) there was a significant effect of learning motivation on reading interest as evidenced by Fcount = 52.889 > Ftable = 3.91 with contribution of 26.9%. (2) there is a significant effect of parental support for reading interest stated by Fcount = 64,358 > F table = 3.91 with contribution of 3.4%. (3) together there was a significant effect of learning motivation, and parental support for reading interest as evidenced by Fcount = 47.625 > Ftable = 3.06 with contribution of 40.0%. The results of this study can be used as a study of research results that was relevant to other researchers.
