PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TERHADAP TENAGA KERJA PEREMPUAN PADA INDUSTRI PARIWISATA BALI
Abstract
This study is entitled "Legal Protection of Women Workers in the Gender Perspective of the Bali Tourism Industry”. The initial idea behind this research is the assumption that women are only fit to do domestic work, gradually the assumption is in line with the increasing labor needs and emancipation of women implied in Article 27 paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Bali as one of the world's most popular tourism destinations requires a large workforce, including women. This study focuses on examining 2 legal issues; 1. What is the legal protection of women workers in a gender perspective on the Bali tourism business? 2. What are the sanctions on companies / employers who do not fulfill their obligations to female workers? The research method used in analyzing legal issues in this study is the normative legal research method. Normative legal research is carried out by invitation of regulations and literature. Approval used is agreement and concept approval. Based on the results of research recognized about the rights between men and women have been approved. However, specifically regarding the copyright and nature of women, for companies / employers must ask specifically to protect female workers. This protection does not mean lowering the position of women workers who are determined to be weak, but as a form of recognition of the existence of women workers.
