KEBERADAAN LEKSIKON POHON LANGKA DI DENPASAR: STUDI EKOLINGUISTIK

Abstract

Environment plays an important role in the formation of a language of a person. The study aims to determine the shape and the ecological significance of therare trees lexicons in the city of Denpasar.The data collected are words and phrases. Data were collected by using observation method and interview technique. The collected data were analyzed by using ecolinguistic theorydescriptively. The results of the analysis are presented by using informal methods. The finding of this study is that was found 19 lexicons of rare trees in Denpasar. They are 17 verbs, a noun, and an adjective. These lexicons begin to be rarely used by young people in daily conversation. Children has 21 % of The Existence of Rare Trees Lexicons, 47,7 % for adults, and seniors has 94,4 %. It shows us that the percentage of seniors is higher than the others.
