PENGETAHUAN DAN KETERAMPILAN PETANI TERHADAP PUPUK ORGANIK DI SUBAK SENGEMPEL KECAMATAN ABIANSEMAL KABUPATEN BADUNG

Abstract

Agriculture as meeting the needs of organic fertilizers is one of the right solutions to increase food yields with good quality and quantity, and also plays a role in maintaining the balance of farmers 'knowledge about organic fertilizer, farmers' skills on organic fertilizer, and the obstacles of Subat Jatiluwih farmers in using organic fertilizer.Consideration of the location of the study was carried out intentionally based on consideration that Subak Sengempel was often given counseling related to organic agriculture. The population in the study was 274 people. Respondents in this study were 42 people using Slovin theory. The results showed that the knowledge of Subak Sengempel farmers about organic fertilizer was in the medium category with a score of 65.76%, which means that the knowledge of Subak Sengempel farmers was not maximal, so training in making organic fertilizer was needed so that farmers' knowledge increased. The skills of Subak Sengempel farmers towards organic fertilizer are good with a score of 80.09%, which means the skills of Subak Sengempel farmers are good and need to be maintained. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that local extension agents conduct intensive counseling by directly providing practice on the use of organic fertilizers and providing supporting material on organic fertilizers.
