Abstract

High company value can indicate the prosperity of high shareholders, because the higher the value of the company's investors will get additional benefits in addition to dividends given by the company in the form of capital gains from their shares. Company value can be reflected through profit. The higher profit means the higher the value of the company. This research aims to determine the effect of profitability, dividend policy and company size on the value of the company in the manufacturing company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2018. The data used in this research is secondary data. The population in this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015-2018 period, which amounted to 170 companies. The sample selection in this study was carried out using the purposive sampling method. Based on existing criteria, 40 companies were sampled. This research uses data collection methods in the form of non-participant observation methods. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, it is obtained that the Profitability and Size of the Company has a positive effect on firm value. Dividend policy does not affect the value of the company.
